Main results were the insertion of UAEMEX in an international education project, with a global scope and a Latin-American focus: Working along with other partners is an opportunity to learn other ways of teaching, pharmaceutical patient-caring in our countries and production capabilities. We learned the way to dive into internationalization of educational programs in UAEMEX. We also learned other institutions technical capabilities and digital learning practices.The pilot scale implementation of the courses prepared here at UAEMex: Feedback was followed through, and it allowed us to understand better the needs for pharmaceutical capabilities in our country and also to evaluate our job as courses designers and on line teaching.Reviewing UAEMEX capabilities in MOOCs and suitability of infrastructure: This project helped us openly discuss and assess our TIC (Moodle, storage space, human resources) capabilities, as well as to challenge our communications infrastructure which was needed to disseminate the courses (TV, radio, newspaper, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Also, there is an ongoing learning on how to improve our ways of collecting payments from digital contents (such as MOOCS) all over the world.

COPHELA gave us an opportunity to know our institution better and to challenge our internal operation. It also allowed us to impact on the following institutional axes, named in our Development Plan. The acquisition of skills in digital teaching & learning processes. The university contribution to society and no discrimination policies. The offer or innovative higher education programs. The promotion of new internalization strategies. We believe the project made possible a valuable degree of ripening and I also think this knowhow will open new opportunities with a better idea of how to deal with international projects from the inside.UAEMEX is an institution widely established throughout the Mexico State, which is the most populated state in the country. This gives us a regional sense and with COPHELA we are covering many municipalities or mini regions which have serious deficiencies in services such as healthcare, internet connectivity and even rudimentary roads. On the other hand, UAEMEX has just been ranked as the number one state-university in Mexico, thus we also have a sense of nation-wide projection and leadership.
